What is the fastest way to learn the splits without hurting yourself?

i am starting a dance class soon ... and i can't do the splits at all ! and i need to now the fastest and most effective way to do the splits without hurting myself!!What is the fastest way to learn the splits without hurting yourself?
make sure you warm yourself up before you try doing the splits. for example, try doing toe touches %26amp; the butterfly. its very important you do warm-ups so you avoid injury. (you may wanna look up different warm-ups you can do: )


the most effective way i've found that helps with your front splits is to;


kneel on your left knee, keeping your leg straight underneath you. take your right leg and slide it forward and as much as you can, keeping one hand on the floor on either side of you for balance. after that, switch legs.


the best way to get better is to keep trying often(just try not to overdo please:) i hope i made sense, let me know if you need a better explanation x)


also- make sure you keep your toes pointed!!

there really iz no supper fast way 2 learn how 2 do splits without hurting urself. just strech, but dont over do it!!!!!! tht could lead 2 u breaking something. and ur dance instructor should understand, but if hes upset with u caus eur not as flexiable as he wants u 2 b, its probally not wirth going 2 the class anymore.
