When another computer gets on the internet on a cable internet network, does it split the ban?

I'm just curious to know if it splits the connection like DSL does. When another computer gets on the internet on a cable internet network, does it split the ban?
YES.

as long as you are on network, bandwidth is been share among the computers connected regardless how much the bandwidth is..When another computer gets on the internet on a cable internet network, does it split the ban?
You mean ';Bandwidth';???? If two computers are on the same network. Like a home network through SBCYahoo or Comcast and you're using a gateway or router and they are both on the internet at the same time then yes, it does split the speed or bandwidth between the 2 computers. I hope this helps! If this doesn't answer your question. Please respond in greater detail. Thanks hope this helps.
