I have a 4.7 GB DVD and I want to burn a 6 GB ISO file but I want to split it into 2 DVDs but I don't want to install a program to merge it again.What program can I use to split an ISO file about to be burned to a CD?
If I were you, I would recommend getting a Double-Layer DVD (which can hold twice the amount of memory that a standard DVD can hold. That would prevent having to split it at all. (If it is a software program that is contained in the iso, splitting would be a bad idea anyways).
However, if you still want to split it, there is a program called PowerISO that allows you to do a lot of things to .iso files, including extraction, splitting to multiple volumes, converting, etc.... The program is not free, but it can do almost anything you need done to your .iso files.
