Does anyone know if the usual split between Low and high rate electricity is about 50/50?

I am using more night units than day units even during the summer.Does anyone know if the usual split between Low and high rate electricity is about 50/50?
Night rate being the cheapest don't worry about it.

Had something similar once when the meter became faulty and recorded everything as night rate. If it works out cheaper wait until the meter reader spots it or the company query it. It's not your property (the meter) so not your concern.Does anyone know if the usual split between Low and high rate electricity is about 50/50?
I am on standard tariff = 1st 224 units @ 14.950p

next 381 @ 10.160p this is not economy seven and is with EDF energy..
You are fortunate... Night rate units are much cheaper than day units.. Either your meter is set wrongly or you have organized you electric consumption well.. It is usual for the night units to be about 25% of the total or less.. The exception might be if you use night storage heaters .
You should be using more night units even in the summer. Your hot water tank should only be coming on during the night which uses a lot of power. Also if you are an early riser that first cup of tea etc in the morning will also be on the cheap rate.
