a good program i use is 'goldwave', it's a trial but still usefull.
u can copy a part of a file %26amp; make a new file of it.
if u dont need to convert much files, it's also possible to open wma's and then just 'save as...' mp3

audiocity is a good free program.
I use MP3DirectCut.
FREE and very easy to use.
Just look on the net for it.
Go to www.download.com and search for Audacity. Its free and will do everything you want.
