im just wondering, what would happen if the sun cracked down the center and became two different pieces?What would happen if the sun split in half?

It's impossible. The Sun cannot split in half, even if it did, it would pull itself together due to gravity.
Gravity from the two pieces would pull them back together. Beside that it can't split down the middle.
The Sun is a ball of gas, mostly hydrogen. It can't ';crack'; or ';split in half';.
