Are the childrens in a divorce split up too?

If there are 3 children, is the court allowed to split up the children. For example, can one parent be the custodial parent for only 2 children? Then for the other parent to be the custodial parent for that 1 child? Are the childrens in a divorce split up too?
Only if the kids are old enough for the courts to allow each child to choose his or her requested parent. Otherwise no and usually are awarded to the mother unless ruled unfit or refuses custodyAre the childrens in a divorce split up too?
I don't think the court like splitting children up,the mother usually gets custody, does one of the children want to live with your partner,do you want one child to live with one parent and not the other or are you fighting to keep them all? you got to do whats best for you all,you don't have to get the court involved if you can sort it between the both of you.
It depends on the parents. Sometimes they can agree on a split in custody. Most times this is done so neither parent has to pay child support to the other parent. I don't like the fact that 3 children be split. It's important to know your brothers and sisters growing up. That builds strong family relationships when you are adults.
Yes it's done sometimes but it's seldom in the child's best interest to be separated from their siblings.
