is it 50/50? or say that the second person that does the song makes it bigger then it ever was and sells more versions of it is it still 50/50?How does it work when a band remakes a song? How do they split the money with the original writer?
I'm pretty sure that they only pay the original writer once for the royalties to cover it. However much money the band makes from that is the band's and the record company's.
